Overview

Nonograms (also called Picross or Griddlers) are picture logic puzzles. Each row and column has number clues telling you how many consecutive filled cells appear. Using pure logic, you determine which cells to fill and which to leave empty, gradually revealing a hidden picture.

How to Play

1. Read the number clues along each row and column.
2. Left-click a cell to fill it (mark it as part of the picture).
3. Right-click a cell to mark it with an X (definitely empty).
4. A clue like "3 1" means there's a group of 3 filled cells, then a gap, then 1 filled cell.
5. The puzzle is solved when all filled cells match the solution.

Rules

• Number clues indicate groups of consecutive filled cells in that row or column.
• Groups must appear in the order listed, with at least one empty cell between groups.
• Cells are either filled or empty — there's no partial fill.
• The puzzle has exactly one solution derivable through logic.

Strategy Tips

• Start with large clues: A clue of "8" in a 10-cell row means the middle 6 cells must be filled.
• Overlap technique: Push a group as far left as possible, then as far right. Cells in both positions must be filled.
• Mark empty cells: Use X marks to track cells you've confirmed as empty.
• Cross-reference: Information from one direction constrains the other. Check both row and column clues.
• Look for "0" clues: A clue of "0" means the entire line is empty.

Difficulty Levels

• 5×5: Small grid, quick to solve, great for learning the logic.
• 10×10: Standard size with more complex clue patterns.
• 15×15: Large grid requiring sustained concentration and advanced techniques.
